Quick Summary:

So Many Reasons Country Pop Ballad - Steve Caustrita

Media Description:

So Many Reasons has been around since 1998 (not this version), it was original call "When I Held Your Hand", and was written for a scene in a video game. The chords took on a new form in 2008 as a song for my wife. My work during 2008 - 2012 took me the Virgins Islands (Caneel Bay Resort) each year for 9 days. During our video conferences, I would tell her "I Love You For So Many Reasons Lately, It's Been Your...", then say the reason for that day. The last reason was her smile. There were many attempts to write lyrics by me using that line but I was never happy with the results. In 2016 I took the music to a professional site and ask writers to build lyrics around the line "I Love You For So Many Reasons, Lately It's Been Your Smile, from that, two good versions came forth. I asked the talented Sam Dixon to add his voice to the project, but he wasn't available and directed me to Fred's collaboration site F-Jam. There I set up for auditions for new lyrics and vocals. Brent Mordue was the first to answer, with his deep baritone voice. It didn't take long to put it all together, but with this post, I'm asking for help with the mix. There are 15 tracks and need ideas to move forward with a streaming project I'm doing with Smoke Cloud Entertainment®, for Pandora, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and a couple of others.

Brent's Lyrics:

thru all the seasons there are

so many reasons that i love you

but lately its been your smile

we've been thru thick and thin

where do i begin i love you

hold my hand awhile

you are the calm in my storm

your arms feel more like home

than any old house ever did

you know the little things

that cheer me up and make me happy

i'm glad you let me in

you still give me butterflies

but lately its been your smile

you still give me butterflies

i can get thru anything

just as long as i can have you

standing by my side

the day i met you i found

all of the missing pieces

i thought i left behind

you still give me butterflies

but lately its been your smile

you still give me butterflies

thru all the seasons there are

so many reasons that i love you

but lately its been your smile

we've been thru thick and thin

where do i begin i love you

hold my hand awhile

i want you to understand

i will be yours forever

forever and a day

you know the little things

that cheer me up and make me happy

i think i'm here to stay

you still give me butterflies

but lately it's been your smile

you still give me butterflies

lately it's been in your smile
